Perhaps the most critical update. Early MG4 firmware limited the DC charging speed aggressively to protect the battery. Later updates (mid-2023 onwards) smoothed the charging curve, allowing the car to hold 80-90kW for longer before tapering. If your car takes 60 minutes to go from 10-80% on a 150kW charger, you likely need an update.
